If We Could Just "Get It Together"

Don't Surround Yourself With "Yes" People
Take a look at everyone on your team. Ask yourself honestly if they are regularly challenging your ideas.
If not - if your key people tend to defer to you - sit them down and take responsibility for having turned them into cheerleaders instead of challengers.
Apologize and then ask for their support in the future. Talk about how the group could best discuss and evaluate new ideas.
If you do, your business will prosper and you won't have to worry about wasting time, resources, and possibly big money pursuing bad ideas - even if they are yours.
Make Informed Decisions--Why and How
Starting a business or Making Important decisions is an emotional experience, especially if you've never done it before. And that is the case when you are pondering, "what to do".
Most people feel an odd mix of overoptimism and anxiety, impatience and fear.
With all those emotions swirling, it's easy to fixate on the wrong things and to make mistakes that can come back to haunt you.

Your Market Expertise Quiz
How well you understand your client base and your product's attractiveness to them are just other terms for what's called your "market expertise." It also translates to how well you understand your partners.
I shared my answers, now it is your turn.
Rate your current market expertise by asking yourself these questions:
1. What is the most important psychological benefit of my product or service?
My Answer: Helping others through Inspiration, Motivation and offering credible Income Oppportunities. Gifts that just keep on giving.
Encouraging others to be different, yet work together at achieving our overall goal of being successful at building more wholesome relationships and helping others.
I believe this is the ultimate, The Utopia.
Failure is not an option--turn negative into positive.
2. What is the most common mistake other marketers make when they sell it? My Answer: Selfishness and Greed. It all starts in the home and with yourself. We are about giving, giving back and forgiving.
Time--where and how you spend it.
Goal Setting, prioritizing, discussing, developing and implementing strategies to meet them, not just for ourselves but for all mankind.
Sacrificing---Do not settle for mediocrity--less than your God given purpose. You must pay some "Dues".
3. How have my customers' needs and desires changed in the recent past? My Answer: Costs are increasing while motivation, inspiration and income opportunities are on the decrease.
Many get a second JOB (Just Over Broke!) or take advantage of opportunities that, "Just take advantage of others".
Need more credible buisness opportunities and support to ensure continued success.
A desire for more "Togetherness".
4. What changes have I made to accommodate those changes? My Answer: Take advantage of the www to create a web platform to nurture this kind of environment.

Keep in mine, it is all about relationship building and helping others. Building = the change you must execute, in order to better meet your needs. Get in relationship with others doing what it is you want to do.

Track them down. Get past the "this is weird" barrier.
Call them on the phone.
Simply wish them a happy birthday.
No grand expectations. No worries about how it might go. It's just a quick congratulatory call.
Go ahead. Make someone's birthday memorable. In the process, you'll create your own memorable moment.
And really, don't you want more of those? That's what mindfulness is all about.

-- For reading & meditation: 1 Corinthians 10:1-13 We turn now to another sphere of life from which many of us might long to be exempted - the area of strong and unrelenting temptation.
Most of us, if we are honest, would like to be excused from having to face temptation, but temptation has its uses: it can work in God's hands to the development of character, and help perfect the image of Christ in our lives.
Mark Antony was called "the silver-throated orator of Rome", but he had the fatal flaw of not being able to resist a temptation.
That indictment, I'm afraid, applies not just to Mark Antony, or to the ranks of the unconverted, but to many in the Church also.
We all face temptation, and unfortunately far too many of us fall beneath its power.
The root meaning of the word "temptation" (Greek, peirasmos) is that of testing. The dictionary defines temptation as the act of enticement to do wrong, by promise of pleasure or gain".
Charles Swindoll commented: "Temptation motivates you to be bad by promising something good." Isn't that just like the devil? Are you facing a particularly fierce temptation at the moment?
Then take heart - you have all the power you need to stand up under the blast.
Harry S. Truman, a former President of the United States, is famous for saying: "If you don't like the heat, get out of the kitchen." But I've not found anyone who was able to stay strong without spending time in the "kitchen".
If you can't stand the heat, stay in the kitchen - and in God's strength, learn to handle it."
PRAYER: O Father, show me how to experience continual victory over temptation. And help me, in this area of life also, not to be "a corn of wheat afraid to die?" I face the fire in Your strength, knowing that You never allow what You cannot use. Amen.
