Thousands of Dead Pigs in Your Drinking water

If you awakened one day and discovered thousands of dead pigs floating in your drinking water, would that be cause for alarm? Would it be too late? What would you do? What could you do?
The first thing most folk I know would say, "they ain't my pigs".
If it would kill more than 2800 pig, what will it do for you and even if it didn't kill the pigs, would all those dead pigs, at once, be too much to pollute yours and my most valuable water supply?
What about the combination of dead pigs and/or oil spilled? What about all the pollutants from commercial and recreational vehicles usage alone? Where does all our pollution end up anyway? Our troubles have only begun... What next?
Cause for Alarm in China as more than two thousand dead pigs discovered floating around a major aquifer and transport hub.
More than 2800 rotting pig carcasses have been pulled from the Huangpu River but water quality has not been affected -Hog Wash.
The source of the pigs is unknown but local authorities have stressed that water quality has not been affected. Is that possible?
Clean-up efforts have begun and the pigs are being tested for bio-safety risks and Local authorities are still retrieving dead pigs from the river.
Pig-borne diseases such as foot and mouth, cholera, pig virus and epidemic diarrhoea?
Dumping dead disease pigs into a major drinking water supply, what kind of human being would do that?
Savoring today's bacon and water for as long as I can. Would the psychological affects alone, be too much, preparedness and response? By now, the number of dead pigs has risen above 3323.
