What's the use in telling people how to "live debt free"? Is it a reality or a myth? Then, why do or go through all the hoops provided by our society to live debt free?
Is starting out with a huge debt any incentive to be out of debt? Is that the best way to grow an economy? Then why does our economy treat us this way?
We talk about "child abuse, scams, child labor laws, eating your..." how does that mean "getting started by saving? HOw do you explain the incentive to save?
What does a 17 year old know about a $32,000 loan to complete his education? Then, why do we sanction this and is there a better way? Why don't we take the better way? Is that why our jobs are diminishing?
Who's responsible for selling our youth out, who's responsible for selling empty dreams to our future generations? Are you smarter than a 5th grader? People are only concerned about their own personal gains and building their own personal dynasties, not the welfare of the whole. The crazy thing about his all is,,, we know this doesn't work.
Contrary to popular belief, there's very little faith in an already destined to fail system of education. No matter how you turn it, poor financial management, like any other poor management, will result in demise.
Does being poor at personal financial education... Does access to higher education mean submission to the shackles of debt ---the new slavery.
"I had no idea what I was getting into at the time. I didn't even know what interest was when I was 17," that's awfully indicative of the incredibly poor personal finance education young people have at that time in their lives.
This simple statement explains it all, but what are you going to do about it? Will you just allow it to run it's course? Then get ready-doomed.
