New Day...Same Game...Just Old Ass Players!

It's a New Day!!

Wow! I thought when you reached a certain age the qualities of truth and honesty kick in and people stop playing games.

Wrong. Today I received a telephone call from a gentleman who said he was interested in getting to know me better. Okay, sounds ligitimate so far. He indicated I was the kind of woman he was looking for and he knew he could convince me he was the "man of my dreams".

As the conversation went on I realized he was mentally still in the 70's using his one line wraps! After amusing myself with the conversation for about 10 minutes, I became irritated at the idea of this man thinking I was as shallow as he.

I interupted him and asked, "are you serious"? He replied with a hint of indignation in his voice,"Yes I'm serious baby, I want to rock your world!" I was stunned for a second but gathered my southern manners and politely said,"I appreciate your interest but you have picked the wrong lady. I don't have time for childish games and metaphors, I'm only interested in meeting people who are able to help me make a difference in the world."

Needless to say he didn't understand and I saw no need to try to explain...he was an old player trying to pull with 40 year old lines!

It's a new day, me and most of my sisters like me, are not seeking relationships with empty wagons, opportunists, couch potaotes, or chauvinist. We want to meet "real men" who dare to be different, ENJOY LIFE but respect, COMPLIMENT and care for their lady.

IS HE A MYTH OR DOES IT JUST TAKES LONGER TO FIND HIM?
