At age 57 and never being hospitalized nor any major illness, my day finally came for the "life or limb” test . To my surprise it was a heart attack and I’m very grateful to be alive.

I went to the emergency room complaining of severe chest pains when the doctor discovered a life threatening blockage. He immediately took me into surgery to perform a coronary balloon angioplasty and stent procedure. Three hours later I was sent to ICU for two days of recovery.
Here’s the kicker to all of this is, my heart attack started at a friends house. She immediately gave me a full strength aspirin which doctors attribute to minimizing damage to my heart.
