~High Intelligence and or High Consciousness~

May I take this opportunity to introduce to the readers of Your Inner-Voice.Com, some of my students of the 2012 graduating class of Millennium Second Chance Education Center, Inc. One of their final class projects was to read, research, and report information on ~High Intelligence and/or High Consciousness~.

I would like to present the information in an open-forum format...Opening statement of discussion...

Mrs. Wallace: Class, I feel real comfortable in sharing this: the more you know, the more wisdom you gain, the more consciousness then comes what? Intelligence in our society is oft measured by how many "facts" one can remember on a lame test. I have, post in the classroom, to share with you class, this quote: Intelligence is not the ability to store facts, but it is the ability to find information when and if needed. True intelligence comes when you KNOW from what you learn the TRUTH of things. Then as you seek to know more "intelligence" and you exhaust the sciences and arts, you begin to turn to philosophy and history. From there you learn about what we were, what we lost, and that my class leads to the path of higher consciousness and/or High Intelligence...

Question asked: What is the difference?

Dustin: A good number of people has high intelligence. But not many have high consciousness. What are the differences? I don't truly understand how they both apply. If you are smart you can be a good lawyer or mathematician or detective. What can you do with high consciousness but low intelligence? I don't think too much because you need some intelligence there. But people with high consciousness have a better understanding of the world and are kinder and wiser. But how does that work with intelligence?

LaShawndra: I feel that high intellect often breeds arrogance which leads to egocentrism and narcissism…being a self-centered person and feelings of greater control than one actually has. Being intelligent makes people feel that they have the "answers" because they feel/think that they are relatively smarter than most people around them.

Tommy: So these people feel that the rational mind can conquer all. And many believe, due to their ability to rationalize better than most, that there cannot be a god or soul/spirit higher consciousness.

Dustin: They make the same "mistake" that they so fervently accuse believers of making that their belief is not justified because it has no grounds. But believing something cannot exist is just as irrational as believing in something without "sound scientific deduction".

Mygail: Now that’s not to say high consciousness and intelligence can’t exist in the same person but I think those are some of the reasons you see that sort of break between the two.

Mrs. Wallace: I think there is a lot you can do with a developed consciousness in this world but often times it will be indirect. You have to find situations that foster that sensibility and then allow you to apply what you "know". But like I said it often has to be indirect. So it may be a matter of how you act, how you treat others... Do you encourage others to be who/what they truly are or allow them to follow the conformists view when you can see they should do otherwise? Do you root for people? Or against them?

Tacarra: But, really, wisdom and high consciousness are everywhere it's just not recognized. Unconditional love/acceptance-compassion are some of our greatest capabilities. Look at the love between a mother and child; It's not just biology at work... It's that higher consciousness that I speak of…

Jamerson: I think high consciousness gives access to higher collective mind, wherein it is given the combined intelligence of consciousness below that level, and the seeds to grow into the next higher levels of consciousness.

Dustin: That is why people with high consciousness are always highly emotionally intelligent, which in many cases is an intelligence contrary to msm/public definition of intelligence aka IQ.

Mrs. Wallace: Class, thank you so much for your reading and researched findings on this assignment. Class time is almost over and we will continue this discussion at another class period, okay?

So in summation of what we discussed, we can conclude that...high intelligence and high consciousness go together… you need intelligence to "figure things out". You need high consciousness to grow, reach new level of awareness, find your inner light, which then takes you to a whole new level of cosmic intelligence.

Dustin: Mrs. Wallace, you know that I am keenly interested in this subject, therefore I feel entitled to have the final say...the class bursted out in laughter at Dustin making his last statement...If you study metaphysics etc. like Astrology, and link it to Mythology...read the Urantia Book, Sitchen, TheNewEarth.org, you'll get even smarter...if you look to the east right now, moon is conjunct Jupiter, watch jupiter and the bright stars (moving?)…see if you aren't one of the natives who, couldn't see the ships on the horizon because it wasn't in the "consciousness" yet. Then ask yourself what intelligence actually is...Think about it...now class is dismissed, okay?...
