Are You Stuck in the Mud?

President Barack Obama won the 2008 Presidential election by offering the people "CHANGE". He never promised change overnight but indicated change could occur with everyone putting forth a positive effort. People liked the idea because they were tired of being stuck in the mud.
As we move through the journey of life, we will meet all types of people at each crossroad or rest point. At this stopping point in our lives we will have the choice to stay on the same path to lead us to the final destination or try another route which offers a different twist to the journey. The twist offers more excitement and adventure, even though the final destination is the same for either path.
The question is do you stay on the same boring, humdrum path or do you become adventurous and add a little BANG, WOW, and JOY to your life?
Those who choose to be stuck in the mud will continue doing the SAME OLD SAME OLD! Those who choose the new twist life has to offer will jump on the new path and have a BLAST!
If you are at the crossroads, I challenge you to either jump on the new path or jump out of the way...you can't keep others back because you are stuck in the mud!!
Remember, if you always do what you've always done, you will always get what you've always gotten.
Isn't is amazing how people can get involved with someone else's activities, but can never get together on their own and form positive, creative and innovative things for each other?
What's wrong with us? Are we so tied to the shackles of tradition, when you reach a certain age you become self-righteous and holier than Thou? Everybody is doing wrong except you. We allow ourselves to be prisoners of our idiotic insecurities? We make up excuses to cover our selfish behavior. Tradition represents a mindset in decay. We must understand tradition is a guide, not a jailer so it is okay to be different. Wake up...ONLY YOU CAN PREVENT ANOTHER OLD, SENILE, LONELY, SELFISH, GRUMPY, SICK SENIOR CITIZEN!!
