Why does GOOD trump EVIL?

Am I using the right words here?

Then, why do we need a super hero? Why does GOOD always and would always be appropriate here, trump evil?

I am thinking of cases where good won over evil? During any time of my life, did good ever win over evil? So, how did we ever come up with the church thing and why is going to church such a controversial subject, why are parishioners always busy, like there are so many of us who are not saved? Is their work in vain or are they just greedy as hell?

If you just take Christians for example and looked at two of the atrocities they tolerated, these would be two of the greatest atrocities committed known to people of today. I'm not talking about being a perfect people, but why must we be so evil? Well, if we think the world needs to be saved, then that means we think they're evil or we just want to recruit as many people as we can.

So, if everyone turned good then what, would good actually trump evil?
