Smoke Signals

Trial by fire?

Why would anybody in their right mind want to believe in smoke signals? They ain’t that important are they? Yet,  come on now, everybody, every once and awhile puts up a smoke screen. Why if you don't believe and what do you expect?

Has a smoke signal ever been wrong, what about Jesus Christ? The burning bush said something to him didn’t it?

Do you have to get burned before you get burt? Is that why we’re so fascinated by fire, guns, fire power?

Is that why we want to shoot or blow each other up? Why is there such competition, such rebellion, such denial, irresponsibility… Protect yourself from who, what should the rest of the world know about your guns, gold and God? Is that he refuses to put down his guns, but asks and expect others to?

Safety and Security, isn't it very obvious that "a mother fucker" with a gun is a dangerous thing. Why do we obey policemen and not our parents? When everybody cares a gun, what should policemen do? How do you stop the madness, the violence and abuse?

Unintentional or intentional, have you ever been shot with a gun, what about seeing another human being shot, hurt, wounded by gunfire?

Would you want to see it again? At all cost, do you, again want to shoot another human being? Then, why do we have rehabilitation programs in prison?

How created these guns and more importantly, why do we use, threaten to use them against each other?

Security and Safety, will that protect you against terrorists? Why do you feel so strongly that another person wants to take what you have?

From where comes your signals? Would it not be better that you believe in smoke? Then, to where are your smoke signals going?
