Pretending Like It Never Happened In America???

Pretending like what is not happening in America? Playing both sides...

Loans, Credit, Schools, shopping, recreation, housing... pretending like it never happened only means it is still going on.

This just how much Black Americans today want to be accepted in the White American Society, because White America will never accept Black America. This is the reality "we" all want to forgive, failing to understand there is no forgiving for the horrors committed against an innocent people. Native Americans ain't forgiving this shit and Black Americans ain't forgiving this shit. How can anyone expect to be forgiven, just forgiven for the kind of atrocities committed against their people? Why do we want to act like we're doing the impossible, knowing too well this shit is still going on?

Why was not the likes of Mike Vick forgiven, OJ Simpson, Bill Cosby... why are Black on White crimes still treated well more severe than White on Black crimes? Why don't we forgive Blacks who allegedly commit crimes against whites?

Do you think the likes of Oprah, Cosby, Obama are pretending or do you think they are able to move on, buddy buddy with White folk? Do you think they do not realize the dangers of playing both sides?

Instead of forgiving, you would tell them they were wrong and hold them accountable to not do it again and that is the problem, they do not want to be held accountable. That mindset still prevails, why the "Injuns are on a reservation, blacks ignored and whites are still reeking havoc. We continue to accept their reckless behavior or call ourselves forgiving what cannot be forgiven.

How long can we keep pretending? Some deny, some are ignorant to "the real story" and others dictate you be this way, but either way there is no forgiving, and rightfully so, these horrors cannot be forgiven. To forgive injustice is to concede to permissiveness. That's why we have discipline - to obey rules or code of behavior, using punishment to correct disobedience. And that is still what they do to our asses while we are lenient, tolerant, obedient, loyal, granting time permission to keep kicking our asses.

There are those of us who are in total denial of this evil process yet want to be respected for who they are. They pretending "all is okay"!
