Perseverance
Absolute assurance and certainty that what we are looking for is going to happen.
How long can you persevere? No money or food, disaster, critically illness, lonely, old, just sick and tired of being sick and tired......the list goes on. Not for as long as you think you should but for as long as needed.
You don't won't to confess and continue looking for ways to avoid it. You feel you can’t take any more. You just can not wait and start to waver. So, you go out and do stupid stuff. Even that does not bring the satisfaction you seek but you made another day. Soon you are put to another test and the same thing over again. So you continue being miserable with a phony smile.
Do not allow temptation to get the best of you. If and when you do, don't just keep going the wrong way. CONFESS and turn from wicked ways before it is too late...You and all around you will feel much better. That's perseverance!
Persevere spiritually. You will be happy you did.
Because you have kept My command to persevere . . . —Revelation 3:10
Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him ( Job 13:15 ).
