Perishing a People
What does it take, Is it happeing, how does it feel,,,To perish a whole people?
to suffer destruction or ruin, do you want that? Then you had better listen up!
Do you not realize it is better for you, that one man die for the people than that the whole nation perish? Life would be a waste.
I would not like to perish to death. I can only imagine it being like stranded in some remote part of the world. It is not so much where as it is how. You are but as helpless as you feel. That is a humiliating thing!
How would you know if your family is perishing?
Where there is no vision, the people perish. Like beached whales, they remove all restraints. People stop accepting divine guidance and they run wild. They are very unhappy and will never see happiness again.
Do you need to experience this more to know this? So what do you do?
Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers.
A servant cannot be corrected by mere words; though he understands, he will not respond.
The days are coming when a famine will be sent through the land--not a famine of food or thirst for water, but a famine of hearing the words.
Men will stagger from sea to sea and wander from north to east, searching for the word. Will they find it? Why not?
Now, what do you have to say? Now, you know. Go down and warn the people so they do not force their way to see.
Divine guidance gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness, but to the sinner is given the task of gathering and storing up wealth to hand it over to the one who pleases God. This too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind. What good does it do you to do that? Does that not make good perfect sense? So why do we keep doing it?
Now, do you understand why we are not moving forward?
Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness and joy, gladness and honor!
