Satan cast out Satan?

The Devil Lucifer Satan? Does he or she really exist? How can I write about myself? The devil made me do it?-- Ole Flip Wilson. I am sure if he was around today, he would agree with this article. For they had say, He has an unclean spirit.

In my mind the devil and all the words credited to describe such an evil force of nature does not exist. Of course, unless we allow it by believing. Just the fact "we believe" we know so much about the devil, gives too much credit and credence to the power of his evil works. It becomes our excuse for and to do evil works. It becomes a reason to argue and disagree. It is a ground to reject our fellow man. It is a distraction. It is a reason to judge. It is inscrutable. It is our reason to keep running from one extreme to the other. It is our reason to fear.

I know the opposite test: positive - negative, good - bad; but I also know there is a neutral, which we often disregard in our struggle to escape the works of the devil. I know some of what the bible says about the above words, but I also know all is subject to interpretation and we too often over look the OBVIOUS, based on what we have been taught. The bible wants us to avoid the devil and evil works.

The Devil, a title given to supernatural beings. He does not make evil, rather points out to God the evil inclinations and actions of humankind. In essence satan has no power unless humans give him power by, speaking, thinking and doing evil things. Hear no evil; speak no evil and see not evil. That is the neutral ground I have discovered.

The only thing we have to fear is fear itself and in our minds the knowledge of the devil and his works, the more fear we instill. Like voodoo, if you believe, then; it is.

Yes, things we do not desire happen in life, which is just a fact of life, a test of your faith. That does not mean some evil power has stepped in, unless you... In other words, neither God nor the devil does evil works, but it does come in the mind of human beings and human beings do.

In our efforts to do well and avoid evil, the less we know, the less time we spend, the less credit and power we give to the devil, the less power the devil has. That the best way to fight the devil and all our evil works is to stay totally focused on God. Give God the glory, give God the credit for every little thing, good and what we choose to think is not good. Remember, God has a purpose for everything. Disregard every negative thought and behavior. Set the example and very soon, the name, the belief and all credit we give and spend on the devil will be spent faithfully serving God.

Stop running; find the neutral ground of life. Agree to disagree, I do not know anything. Give God the glory and Enjoy your best life.
