Circle The Drain (CTD)Is any money flowing into your country, Is any money flowing into your home? Does our government ever have a surplus? Does our country ever earn a profit? Then, for what are we working? What good is it when you are prosperous at home, but your government is always turning tricks? What happened and where are our real opportunities. How long and what can we expect in return by telling people to "Go Back To School". Why did not we get it the first time? Must we repeat? Do you see the light at the end of the tunnel or is it a light on a train? I am skeptical but living in case my life is successful. It is absurd, but think how many people are actually living their lives like that? CTD means to gradually die (literally and figuratively) To meander, undirected towards an inevitable destination. I was talking with a friend the other day about our current state of affairs and he so eloquently described our situation and economy as "circling the drain". He said circling the drain is also a medical related term used to describe the serious state of ones well being. I still was not too sure until he used the bath water scenario to describe it. After opening the drain, the water spirals downward and the closer it gets to the drain, the faster the water spirals. Well, the same thing happens as you are dying. When one major organ fails, others quickly responds to it, hence the concept of circling the drain. But the most dangerous aspect of this process is the vacuum created. Life is literally sucked out of the body. Life is literally sucked out of the economy. Life is literally sucked out of your family.
We were talking about our state of affairs. An economy that doesn't produce anything will circle the drain until it has used all of its' resources (wealth). A healthy economy prospers because it has something the rest of the world wants. What happens when it is only your material possessions? When a country no longer prospers, producing nothing more than fast money, fast foods and big boy toys, it is just a matter of time before it's all gone and the economy will circle the drain. A failing economy can be characterized by asking if any money is flowing into the country. The second question would be if any money is flowing into your home? If the answer is no, then down we go. Everything is "sucked" down the drain.
I'm not gonna stay and watch you circle the drain, but be careful you do not get caught up in the process. As I am looking for ways to avoid CTD, I discovered a program offered by Stephen Scott. I am very impressed with his concept and invite you to share. You can see it here: Team Building Project. Thank you, enjoy and God bless! (((your inner voice.com))) |
